- Digital Roads purchased a new 13,500 square foot facility located just off I-70 and Youngfield in Wheat Ridge, CO.
- Dennis Schmuker was recently promoted to Engineering Manager. Dennis has his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and has many years of experiance in audio-visual design.
- Justin Hood, lead technician recently completed training and certification as a Certified Technology Specialist- Installer (CTS-I).
- Digital Roads increased its employee CTS certification acquiring Gold level status – AVCSP (Audiovisual Certified Solutions Provider through the International Communication Industry (ICIA).
- Selected as AV design/build contractor for the Denver Zoo’s new Asian Tropics Exhibit due to open in 2007.
- The new Wolf Law Building for the University of Colorado in Boulder was completed in August in time for the new 2007 school year. Crestron control systems provide automation and help desk functionality for all 26 systems.
- Digital Roads entered the Hotel/MDU market in 2006 with the award for The Hotel Jerome renovation project in Aspen, Colorado. The design and installation of the Mock Room was completed in December, with 93 guest rooms to follow.
- More than 30 different AV presentation systems with video conferencing technology were completed for Encana Oil and Gas.
- Newmont Gold expanded their offices downtown Denver and in the Inverness area. Digital Roads provided the design build services for all their audiovisual requirements to include several conference rooms with video conferencing.
- A continued partnership with SVI Trucks in Loveland, CO has resulted in several design/build projects for sophisticated AMX controlled command and control vehicles that have been shipped around the US and Canada.
- Provided two Cyviz 3D visualization systems for a local architect. These systems allow them to take their clients through a virtual tour of their perspective building whereby taking the design process to new level.
- With the help of our USAV Partner in Texas Digital Roads completed a four zone presentation system with Crestron automation for EchoStar in Alvin TX.
- Digital Roads continues to provide specialty interview and training systems for police and fire departments around the metro Denver area.
- Digital Roads continues to support several different Home Theater companies with custom control programming using AMX and Crestron – Colorado and Wyoming.
- Continued offering of a GSA Federal Supply Schedule under the IT Acquisitions Divisions 132-8, 132-12 and 132-51 covering key products as well technical and professional services.
